Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Associate to join our team at Sanaullah & Co. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of tax accounting and be able to prepare and file corporate income tax, sales tax (GST/VAT), and withholding tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file corporate income tax, sales tax (GST/VAT), and withholding tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings, including advance tax payments.
  • Maintain tax records and documentation to support filings and audits.
  • Assist in responding to tax authorities on notices, assessments, and inquiries.
  • Maintain tax schedules, ledgers, and reconciliations for accurate financial reporting.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure tax provisions and deferred tax calculations are correctly recorded.
  • Assist Tax Consultant in compliance with Tax Notices, such as FBR Audit and Monitoring of Withholding Tax.
  • Implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors for expert advice on complex tax matters.

Requirements:

  • Qualification:
  • ACCA/ ICMA Part Qualified/ CA Inter/ BBA or MBA in Accounting & Finance.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, and all types of tax returns.
  • Excellent command of tax portals and MS Office
