About Precision Cutting: We are seeking a skilled Wirecut Operator to manage our precision cutting equipment. As a Wirecut Operator, you will be responsible for operating high-speed wire cutting machines to precision-cut metal parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication: Communicate daily with Supervisors for job assignments and instructions.
  • Machining Media: Load wire and other machining media into machine.
  • Setup and Operations: Review setup sheets, quality routing, inspection data, and specifications for detailed operation procedures, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished workpieces.
  • Machine Control: Load control media or retrieve preprogrammed machine instructions from database.
  • Efficiency Optimization: Adjust machine parameters and flushing conditions to maximize cutting efficiency when required.
  • Maintenance and Quality Assurance: Observe and listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions, measure workpieces for conformance to specifications using various inspection media, and record data when required.
  • General Maintenance: Perform general machine maintenance, housekeeping, and organization of the shop, including filters, machine watering, DI, used wire collection, floor care, and fixture cleaning.
