Pastry and Cake Baking Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pastry and Cake Baking Chef with expertise in creating exquisite pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. Bakery Product Development: Design and develop high-quality pastry products that meet our standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
  2. Quality Assurance: Implement effective quality control measures to ensure all products meet our expectations.
  3. Culinary Innovation: Innovate new recipes and continuously improve existing ones to stay ahead of the competition.
  4. Bakery Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bakery, including ingredient sourcing, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  5. Team Leadership: Train and mentor junior staff to uphold the bakery's standards and procedures, and collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus and special offerings.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Cake Baking Chef in a professional setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Strong creative skills and the ability to develop unique and appealing products.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
