Job Title: IT Support Professional
About This Role:
- We are seeking an experienced IT Support Executive to provide technical assistance to users, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, maintain and manage the office network, and stay up-to-date with the latest IT infrastructure and security developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth operation of end-user devices, servers, network, and other IT infrastructure.
- Provide timely and effective technical support to users, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Maintain and manage the office network, ensuring stable and robust internet connections.
- Stay informed about the latest IT infrastructure and security advancements, and suggest upgrades and improvements as necessary.
- Manage Active Directory Users and Group Policy Objects.
- Create and maintain documentation and asset databases.
- Log all support and service requests and update tickets as needed.
- Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
- Administer and troubleshoot Asterisk and IP Telephony systems.
- Configure and manage file and folder sharing and permissions.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT Support, with a focus on managing complex IT environments.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems, including network protocols, hardware, and storage.
- Understanding of network security concepts such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection and prevention.
- Experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with administering Linux operating systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and in a 24/7 operation.
