Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end operational cycles across our projects, billing, forecasting, and resource management.

This role involves managing the billing cycle from project creation to invoicing and roll-off, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Optimise revenue capture by monitoring billing efficiency and collaborating with finance teams.

The successful candidate will lead monthly/quarterly forecasting for revenue, cost, and resource utilisation. They will also produce regular business performance reports highlighting variances and improvement opportunities.

In addition, they will partner with delivery teams to update forecasts based on project status and resource changes. Minimise idle time by managing non-billable resources and working with delivery leads.

Maintain accurate resource projections and allocation plans. Improve productivity and profitability by tracking and optimising utilisation rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and closure.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate billing and timely invoicing.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, including financial performance and progress updates.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 9+ years of experience in business operations, financial planning, or resource management within a project-based organisation.
  • Strong understanding of accrual cycles, billing efficiency metrics, utilisation, and forecasting.
  • Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP/PSA tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, MS Dynamics, Workday, or similar).
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with finance, delivery, and leadership teams.
