The Director of Supply Chain Management will oversee the development and implementation of effective sourcing strategies to support production by managing suppliers, negotiating agreements, and ensuring supply chain continuity for critical materials.

  • Sourcing Strategies: Design and implement strategic plans for raw materials and components aligned with production goals, balancing tactical execution with strategic planning in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Supplier Selection: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to build a reliable supply chain network based on quality, cost, compliance, and lead times.
  • Supplier Partnerships: Foster and maintain strong supplier partnerships, ensuring adherence to agreements and continuous performance improvements through effective communication and relationship management.
  • Negotiations: Lead negotiations for supplier agreements, address contractual issues, and resolve challenges effectively through active listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze performance metrics (e.g., lead times, costs) to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven decisions to optimize supply chain efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Global Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management in Raw Materials or Direct Components, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional global environment and drive results through influence and negotiation.
