Seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems for various clients. The ideal candidate will work on diverse projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the success of automation solutions in multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop E&I related engineering deliverables as per project specification and client requirements.
  • Identify scope of work related to E&I, list engineering documents deliverables, and communicate with other departments for required inputs.
  • Attend regular project progress meetings with internal stakeholders and client review meetings to meet committed expectations.
  • Prepare RFQs for all electrical and instrumentation related items, review sub-vendor offers, and provide technical recommendations to procurement.
  • Raise purchase order requests (IR) for E&I items, identify risks or opportunities, and inform the Project Manager in a timely manner.
  • Handle electrical equipment such as motors, local control stations, motor starters, etc., and instruments like pressure/level/flow transmitters and gauges as well as control valves.
  • Prepare all E&I related documents including single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, load lists, cause & effect, cable schedules, etc.
  • Review P&IDs for E&I related scopes are properly aligned, provide support to internal testing engineers, and assist QC teams towards closure of punch points.
  • Travel to sites for commissioning activities related to E&I works and ensure that work is carried out professionally and in compliance with applicable contracts, company policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Identify E&I areas of concern with assigned projects and recommend corrective actions wherever required.
  • Perform all E&I related tasks required in the initiation, execution, and closure of projects.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE/BSc) in E&I from a reputable university with a good academic record.
  • 7-10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
  • Working experience in wellhead control panels, chemical dosing packages, metering skids, water treatment packages, Oil & Gas skid packages would be preferred.
  • Exposure to Saudi Aramco/ADNOC/PDO/Shell/QE Energy company specifications would be considered an added advantage.
  • Mandatory experience in explosion-proof equipment, ATEX/IECEx certifications, and Ingress protection certifications.
  • Good hands-on expertise on design side, coordination with cross-functional departments, and basic exposure on reading P&IDs and fabrication drawings.
  • Familiarity with all kinds of electrical and instrumentation symbols as per international standards.
