We are seeking a skilled Senior Instrument Design Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for reviewing P&IDs with respect to control and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in engineering design, experience working in MS Office (Word, Excel), and a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering.

Below are the key responsibilities of this position:

  1. Review P&IDs with respect to control and safety requirements.
  2. Prepare Instrument Index in accordance with P&IDs.
  3. Assist designers with preparation of cable block diagrams, cable routing, equipment layouts, termination drawings, etc.
  4. Prepare I/O list with respect to Instrument Index, process and control system design requirements.
  5. Prepare and review Instrument Data sheets.
  6. Prepare and review of instrument wiring diagrams.
  7. Review of loop drawing.
  8. Review and approve Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manuals of Instruments.
  9. Prepare/Review Junction Box Schedule.
  10. Develop specifications for field Instruments control and safety systems, instruments, valves, and all other instruments related items.
  11. Prepare DCS, ESD specification.
  12. Review and approve vendor documents for instrumentation.
  13. Technical Clarification Review meeting with clients.
  14. Technical Bid Evaluation.
  15. Kick off meeting with successful bidders.
  16. Liaison with disciplines inside the company.
  17. Prepare MRs and PRs.
  18. Carry out FATs as required by client.
  19. Sizing and size review of instrument items.

In addition to these responsibilities, we require candidates to have at least 5-10 years of FEED & Detail Engineering experience in the Oil and Gas Sector.
