We are seeking a skilled and proactive network specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in routers, firewalls, wireless solutions, and networking technologies. This role will focus on ensuring optimal network performance, security, and scalability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, including VPNs, policies, NAT, UTM, and HA setups.
- Manage, maintain and optimize wireless networks, including SmartZone controllers and AP configurations.
- Manage Cisco switches and routers, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, EIGRP, ACLs, and QoS settings.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Ensure network security through continuous updates, patching, and compliance with best practices.
- Maintain detailed network documentation including topology diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Provide support for network incidents and service requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT and cybersecurity teams to support infrastructure projects and initiatives.
- Assist with network capacity planning, scalability, and future upgrades.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in enterprise networking roles.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with:
- Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
- Ruckus Wi-Fi technologies (ZoneDirector, SmartZone, APs)
- Cisco switching and routing (Catalyst, Nexus, ISR/ASR series)
- Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols, IP subnetting, routing, and switching.
- Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPNs).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
