Backend Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing conversational AI tools that improve user experience and reduce response times.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of hands-on experience in production environments, with a strong background in Python, JavaScript, and related technologies. They will be responsible for creating, enhancing, and maintaining custom web-based tools and dashboards tailored to internal business needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement conversational AI tools to improve user experience and reduce response times
  • Create and enhance custom web-based tools and dashboards to meet business needs
  • Develop bots and integrations to eliminate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency
  • Build reliable connections between disparate platforms and tools to streamline data and processes
  • Identify and fix bugs, edge cases, and performance bottlenecks

Requirements:

  • Catching bugs before they affect users
  • Anticipating issues and acting proactively to deliver solutions
  • Setting timelines and meeting deadlines while communicating status
  • Taking initiative when facing new challenges and moving forward without hesitation

Technical Skills:

  • Python, JavaScript (Node.js/TypeScript)
  • Flask, FastAPI, Express, or similar frameworks
  • HTML/CSS, React, or other JavaScript frameworks
  • OpenAI API, LangChain, Rasa, Dialogflow, or similar technologies
  • RESTful APIs, webhook integration, automation tools/scripting
  • Git, Postman, Linux CLI, basic CI/CD
