Development Director

We are seeking a skilled Development Director to spearhead our sponsorship and fundraising efforts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, philanthropic organizations, and individual donors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Partnership Building: Identify and approach potential sponsors for events, training programs, and international competitions.
  2. Fundraising Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with our goals and objectives.
  3. Sponsorship Acquisition: Secure sponsorships through effective communication and relationship building.
  4. Event Coordination: Collaborate with event organizers to ensure that sponsor needs and expectations are met during events.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on fundraising activities, sponsorship agreements, and financial targets.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in fundraising, sponsorship acquisition, or sales.
  2. Strong network of contacts within the corporate sector, philanthropic organizations, or relevant industries.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to create persuasive proposals and presentations.
  5. Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve targets.

Compensation:

This is a percentage-based position. The Development Director will earn a commission based on a percentage of the total funds raised.
