Director of Sales Job Description:

The role of a Director of Sales is pivotal in driving revenue growth through the implementation of a data-driven sales process. This position involves creating and executing strategies to fill and drive the sales pipeline, culminating in closing high-value deals across various sectors.

This position requires strong leadership skills to manage and develop a high-performance Sales team that consistently achieves revenue targets. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a consultative sales approach for acquiring new customers and evaluating sales metrics
  • Closing deals by coordinating with appropriate resources (internally and externally)
  • Leading a high-performance Sales team by establishing performance and development goals
  • Maintaining an accurate pipeline in CRM and delivering an accurate forecast based on pipeline and data
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; an MBA is advantageous
  • 5-7 years of progressive sales experience with a proven track record
  • Previous experience leading and managing sales teams is essential
