Job Overview

The Facilities Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of all building systems.

This position oversees daily activities, ensures compliance with safety regulations, and coordinates with vendors and contractors for specialized services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • System Oversight: Supervise and monitor HVAC systems, including VRF systems, to guarantee seamless functioning.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Maintain MEP systems, ensuring timely inspections and repairs to prevent downtime.
  • Energy Efficiency: Ensure optimal genset and power backup system performance to minimize energy waste.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to prolong equipment lifespan.
  • Record Keeping: Record maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate vendor and contractor services to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Facilities Support: Supervise housekeeping, security, and other facilities support services as needed to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure safety, health, and environmental regulation compliance to avoid fines and reputational damage.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies and resolve facility issues promptly to minimize disruption.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on maintenance activities and energy usage to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven facilities management experience with MEP system knowledge.
  • HVAC Expertise: HVAC operations, VRF systems, and genset maintenance expertise.
  • Maintenance Oversight: Ability to oversee maintenance across all building systems.
  • Facilities Knowledge: Knowledge of hard facilities management, including firefighting systems and lifts/elevators.
  • BMS Management: BMS management for monitoring and controlling facility operations.
  • Energy Optimization: Energy management and optimization skills.
  • Staff Supervision: Maintenance staff and contractor supervision experience.
  • Tech Skills: Tech issue diagnosis and resolution ability.
  • Safety Awareness: Familiarity with safety standards and commercial facility compliance requirements.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills for maintaining records.
  • Multisite Management: Multiple site/floor management capacity.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Time Management: Task prioritization under pressure and smooth daily operations assurance.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
