English Language Assessor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced English Language Assessor to join our team. As an English Language Assessor, you will play a critical role in evaluating the English language proficiency of individuals and providing feedback to improve their communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate English language proficiency through assessments and provide detailed feedback to individuals.
  • Conduct call quality monitoring to ensure high standards of customer service are met.
  • Develop and implement coaching programs to improve spoken English, vocabulary, and pronunciation among staff.
  • Provide training on UK culture and English language skills to enhance customer services.
  • Quality assure transcribed files to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Design and maintain auto-scored English language proficiency assessments to evaluate job applicants' ability to communicate effectively with customers worldwide.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Graduate degree in English Literature, Applied Linguistics, Educational Linguistics, or Psychology, with a focus on language proficiency assessment and testing.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in English teaching, preferably in IELTS, PTE, or Cambridge English Exams.
  • IELTS/CEFR certification, PTE, Language certificate, Oxford English Test, and British Council experience are essential.
  • Experience in coaching accent and grammar is an advantage.
  • Relevant national and international experience is a significant plus.
