English Language Specialist Job

We are seeking a skilled English language specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting English language assessments, ensuring that all employees possess the necessary language skills to effectively communicate with customers.

The selected individual will work closely with staff members to improve their spoken English, vocabulary, and pronunciation through coaching and mentoring. Additionally, they will provide customer service training specific to UK culture and UK English language, as well as develop and maintain auto-scored English language proficiency assessments.

To succeed in this role, you should have a graduate degree in English Literature, Applied Linguistics, or a related field, with a focus on language proficiency assessment/testing and research. At least 4-5 years of experience in English teaching, preferably in IELTS/PTE or Cambridge English exams, is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct English language assessments for new and existing employees
  • Monitor call quality and provide feedback to staff
  • Develop and maintain auto-scored English language proficiency assessments
  • Provide customer service training specific to UK culture and UK English language
Requirements:
  1. Graduate degree in English Literature, Applied Linguistics, or a related field
  2. At least 4-5 years of experience in English teaching
  3. IELTS/CEFR certification, PTE, Language certificates, Oxford English Test, and British Council experience
