We are seeking a highly skilled software developer to join our team as a senior Java developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial software development and experience with production server-side web applications.

Job Description:

This is a full-time, long-term position that requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. As a senior Java developer, you will be responsible for utilizing advanced analysis tools and RAG vector stores to proactively identify, diagnose, and rectify product defects and bugs.

You will also employ AI development agents to craft, innovate, and deploy state-of-the-art features for cloud-native applications. Additionally, you will partner with a diverse global team to deliver top-tier, enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the implementation of AI-driven features to enhance workflows and provide cutting-edge tools for service providers.
  • Utilize GenAI code assistants to incorporate GenAI into your daily development processes.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of professional experience in commercial software development with a focus on production server-side web applications.
  • Proficiency in using GenAI code assistants (e.g., Github Copilot, Cursor).
  • A proactive approach to incorporating GenAI into your daily development processes.
Benefits:
  • This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
  • The position is immediately available.
  • The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
