About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a range of sweet and savory baked goods according to established recipes and customer requests
  • Prepare ingredients, doughs, and batters using various techniques and tools
  • Bake items in ovens or other equipment, ensuring that they meet quality and presentation standards
  • Decorate pastries and other baked goods using various techniques, such as glazing and piping
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Develop new recipes and ideas, staying up-to-date with current trends and innovations in the baking industry
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and presentation methods
  • Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
