  • Advanced Manufacturing Specialist

Job Summary:

The Advanced Manufacturing Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, product quality, and innovation by designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced manufacturing processes for new and existing products, focusing on efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

  • Lead automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 projects to improve production goals, business growth, and competitiveness.

  • Conduct process capability studies and implement process control methods to ensure product quality, consistency, and reliability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and supply chain optimization.

  • Design and specify manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures to meet production needs, reduce waste, and minimize environmental impact.

  • Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize workflow, reduce defects, and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Analyze production data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to drive process improvements, increase productivity, and enhance overall performance.

  • Support the introduction of new products into production by developing process documentation, training materials, and ensuring smooth transitions.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to safety, quality, and environmental management.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging manufacturing technologies, trends, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge and drive business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in advanced manufacturing, process engineering, or related field, preferably in a high-tech or automotive environment.

  • Proven experience with automation, robotics, smart manufacturing systems, and Industry 4.0 technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement methodologies, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Proficiency in CAD software, manufacturing simulation tools, and data analysis platforms.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
