Financial Operations Manager

As a highly skilled Accountant, you will play a vital role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to control and verify all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and transparency throughout the process.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial information and summarize it into actionable insights.
You will work closely with the accounting team to prepare and review financial reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize our financial systems.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who can lead by example, demonstrating a high level of expertise and professionalism in all aspects of their work.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivables (Accounts ledgers)
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
- Bank reconciliation on a daily basis
- Provide input into the department's goal-setting process
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns
- Plan, assign, and review staff work & report to the Manager
- Support the month-end and Year-end close process
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Financial Controller or Accounting principles (GAAP)
- Awareness of business trends
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end year close process
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookup and pivot tables
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- MS Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
