This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. As a key member, you will be responsible for crafting server-side logic, defining database structures, and ensuring seamless performance. Your collaboration with front-end developers will be crucial in integrating their components into our application.

Responsibilities
  1. Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end engineers with server-side code
  2. Write clean, testable, and efficient code
  3. Design and implement high-performance applications
  4. Implement robust security measures and data protection
  5. Integrate data storage solutions, including databases and key-value stores
  6. Foster a culture of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Strong proficiency in JavaScript
  2. In-depth knowledge of Node.js and its associated frameworks, such as Express and NextJS
  3. Understanding of asynchronous programming principles and workarounds
  4. Experience with server-side templating languages like Jade and EJS
  5. Familiarity with CSS preprocessors
  6. Basic understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5 and CSS3
  7. Knowledge of accessibility and security best practices
  8. Ability to implement user authentication and authorization between systems
  9. Expertise in integrating multiple data sources and databases
  10. Understanding of scalable design principles
  11. Awareness of differences between delivery platforms, such as mobile and desktop
  12. Proficiency in creating database schemas that support business processes
  13. Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests
  14. Proficient understanding of version control systems like Git
