Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js to contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of server-side applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in backend development, database management, and API development.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Backend Development: Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and maintainable server-side code using Node.js, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  2. API Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services.
  3. Database Management: Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to ensure data integrity and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  4. Collaboration & Code Reviews: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and senior engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions through regular code reviews and feedback.
  5. Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identify, document, and resolve bugs and performance issues, implementing performance improvements and optimizations.
  6. Code Maintenance: Adhere to best practices for code versioning and documentation using Git.
  7. Quality Assurance: Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code stability and reliability, supporting continuous integration and deployment processes.
  8. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in backend development and Node.js technologies.
Requirements
  1. Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript and ES6+, hands-on experience with Node.js and backend development, familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services, knowledge of database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL), and experience with Git for version control.
  2. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills with attention to detail.
  3. Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with strong communication skills.
  4. Agility: Adaptability to new tools, technologies, and processes.
Educational Background
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  2. 0-1 years of experience in software development (including internships or personal projects) with a focus on Node.js.
