Financial Operations Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to manage our company's financial activities. This role involves preparing financial reports, handling daily transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prepare, review, and deliver accurate financial reports within set deadlines.
  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger tasks.
  • Classify, post, and maintain daily transactions in accordance with GAAP or local accounting standards.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, internal audits, and process employee expense reports.
  • Support compliance with internal policies and external audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting and finance projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience (corporate or firm environment preferred).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards (GAAP knowledge is a plus).
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel (experience with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar tools is a plus).
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
