Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to manage and supervise the accounts payable department, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and supervise the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient and timely processing of financial obligations.
  2. Maintain accurate records of the general ledger, accounts payable, and project accounting functions, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  3. Oversee all tax-related processes, supporting tax management to ensure proper tax withholding and clearing of tax GLs in the system.
  4. Track and maintain a database of the company's financial expenditures, providing reports as requested by supervisors.
  5. Oversee all payment transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  6. Monitor the status of all transactions within the company and with external vendors and contractors.
  7. Develop standardized procedures to generate efficiency in-house and create internal templates for use by the team.
  8. Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly and accurately to queries.
  9. Aim to minimize payable aging by improving systems and ensuring compliance with policies and SOPs.
  10. Aim to minimize advances in aging by ensuring timely submission of bills of adjustment after internal audits.
  11. Ensure quick resolution of each query within a reasonable time frame.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure. You will also have strong knowledge of financial policies and procedures, with experience in managing accounts payable departments.
