Channel Insights and Analytics Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Channel Insights and Analytics Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing sales and distribution performance, identifying growth opportunities, and optimizing channel strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as recharge, usage, revenue, churn, subscriber base, etc., and publish performance reports/dashboards for national and regional sales teams.
  • Automate reporting processes and develop interactive dashboards using Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Python to provide complete channel visibility.
  • Design and optimize data models, workflows, and pipelines to ensure accurate mapping of sales hierarchies from franchise to RD level.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), business requirement documentation, and rollout support for digital products and dashboards to ensure end-to-end delivery.
  • Collaborate with data warehouse (DWH), IT, and regional teams to ensure data availability, report automation, and timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Develop geospatial capabilities to analyze channel overlaps, territory potential, and infiltration using mapping tools like QGIS and Shapely.
  • Assist in campaign performance evaluation and channel commission planning in coordination with finance and planning.
  • Upskill internal stakeholders on business intelligence (BI) tools, data literacy, and reporting standards for continuous capability improvement.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.

Additionally, you should have:

  • 3-4 years of experience in telecom, FMCG, banking, or data science/analytics.

Skills:

As a Channel Insights and Analytics Expert, you will require the following skills:

  • Stakeholder management and communication.
  • SQL, data visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, MSTR), Python, and geospatial tools.
