The Chief Financial Officer is accountable for leading the administrative, financial and risk management functions of an organization. This role involves formulating strategic plans to drive business growth, while ensuring the effective management of financial resources.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with senior executives to develop organizational direction and implement tactical initiatives
  2. Overseeing the implementation of business strategies across various departments
  3. Developing comprehensive financial and tax strategies to optimize revenue and minimize costs
  4. Managing budgeting processes and ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  5. Designing performance metrics that support long-term business objectives
Job Requirements

Desired Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, or equivalent experience in business administration. A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in a leadership role within a major corporation or division is required. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, as well as experience partnering with executive teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
A CA in Finance and/or certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are highly valued.
