Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Translator to perform professional oral interpretation and written translation from Arabic to English or vice versa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate documents upon request, including government documents, letters, and reports.
  • Interpret discussions, medical interviews, education sessions, lectures, meetings, and other events as requested.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all translations and ensure neutrality and accuracy when interpreting/translating.
  • Declare any conflicts of interest when asked to interpret or translate.

This role will also involve performing other tasks as assigned by the project coordination team.

Requirements:
  • A university degree in translation/linguistics (English language) is essential.
  • Previous work experience as an interpreter/translator is essential.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic.
  • Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook Express).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage.
