Job Title: Release of Information Supervisor

The role involves overseeing the daily activities of a team responsible for releasing medical information. This includes ensuring that work is completed efficiently and effectively, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the release of medical information, including investigation reports, discharge summaries, and other relevant documents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the release process.
  • Liaise with IT teams to optimize systems and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the release of medical information.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant field such as healthcare or management.
  • At least 4-6 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and software, particularly those used in healthcare settings.
  • Leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
