Job Title: Audit Senior Lead

About the Job:

The Audit Senior Lead plays a pivotal role in all audit engagements, providing initial insights on client queries and leading fieldwork on assigned clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audit teams in the field on large assignments, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency.
  • Guarantee completion of audits/projects within agreed timelines and budgets, allocating resources effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Budget time allocation to assignments, explaining variances from budget and collecting cash on time, maintaining financial discipline.
  • Identify key issues for reporting in the management letter and draft final documents for review, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Supply or attend briefings which are clearly understood on all assignments, fostering open communication.
  • Develop and implement audit strategies, leveraging technology tools and adhering to KPMG Audit Methodology, driving process improvements.
  • Select staff and assign workloads, assist with setting budgets and pricing, and schedule audits, optimizing resource utilization.
