Basketball Coach Wanted - High School Girls Team

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced coach to join our high school girls basketball team as an assistant coach.

About the Role:

The assistant coach will work closely with the head coach to develop game strategies, plan practices, and mentor players to improve their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective practice plans to enhance team performance.
  • Mentor players to improve their skills and teamwork.
  • Assist with scheduling, transporting players to tournaments and special events.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and school staff to ensure facilities are available and safe for use.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation to the athletic director as required.
  • Take care of equipment and facilities, ensuring they are maintained in good condition.
  • Be a positive influence on players, promoting good sportsmanship and teamwork.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Previous coaching experience, preferably in the assigned sport.
  • Strong knowledge of the assigned sport and its rules.
  • Awareness of school policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Reliable transportation.
