Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to oversee the management and support of our hybrid infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, security, and platform-as-a-service offerings.
  • Maintain and optimize domain name system and domain configurations, including Cloudflare, registrar settings, and SSL certificates.
  • Administer Windows Server and Linux environments, including patching, automation, and performance tuning.
  • Configure and manage web server platforms: Internet Information Services, Apache, and NGINX.
  • Manage Active Directory, group policies, and domain trusts in a hybrid identity environment.
  • Administer SQL Server instances and assist with performance tuning, backups, and patching.
  • Support and troubleshoot issues related to website hosting, load balancers, and high-availability deployments.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation, monitoring, and provisioning tasks.
  • Participate in DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies where applicable.
  • Monitor system health, logs, and alerts to ensure high availability and security.
  • Assist in audits, documentation, and compliance-related initiatives.
  • Collaborate with development teams, security teams, and support teams to maintain and evolve the infrastructure stack.

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud computing, system administration, and software development principles. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and drive process improvements within the organization.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure administration, system administration, or software development. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, programming languages, and IT service management frameworks is essential.

Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, or CompTIA Cloud+ will be advantageous. A clean driving record and ability to travel occasionally may be required.
