Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for tracking and collecting information in a proprietary database according to S&P's guidelines. Your duties will include extracting and validating information using search tools, press releases, websites, trade documents, and regulatory filings.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collecting and organizing data from various sources.
  2. Verifying the accuracy of collected data.
  3. Providing input on new collection methods and product enhancements.
  4. Reviewing feedback on transactions content to improve procedures.
  5. Achieving individual and team targets with quality and excellence.
  6. Staying updated on industry trends and reporting standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • MBA/M.COM degree with a good academic record.
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a team, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, and valuation methodologies.
  • Understanding of financial statements and annual reports.
  • Resourcefulness and initiative-taking ability.
  • Attention to detail and a persistent work approach.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and interpretive skills.
  • Ability to conduct efficient thematic online research.
  • Knowledge of databases or automation tools is an advantage.
