Costing Manager Job Description

Sigma Refrigeration Limited specializes in the Electrical and Electronic Manufacturing sector. With a focus on innovation and quality, we are seeking an experienced Costing Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success.

">Key Responsibilities:">

  1. Import related PO, PI & CI preparation: The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing import-related Purchase Orders, Purchase Invoices, and Credit Notes.

    ">

  2. Lot wise analysis: The chosen candidate will analyze ordering and packing with receipts of goods on a lot-wise basis.

    ">

  3. Daily Stock Movement preparation: They will prepare Daily Stock Movement reports to ensure accurate inventory levels.

    ">

  4. Imports Landed cost calculation: The candidate will calculate imports landed cost and submit it in the ERP system.

    ">

  5. Standard Vs Actual production variance report: They will calculate the standard vs actual production variance report to identify areas of improvement.

    ">

  6. BOM and Explored BOM updation: The selected candidate will update and record all products BOM and Explored BOM in the ERP system.

    ">

  7. Data entry and physical stock take: They will ensure proper data entry of daily store movement and cost center-wise production, as well as participate in physical stock take activities periodically.

    ">

  8. Supplier invoice recording: The chosen candidate will record supplier invoices based on GRN and match them with purchase/work orders.

    ">

  9. Supplier ledger reconciliation: They will reconcile and monitor supplier ledgers to ensure accuracy.

    ">

  10. Accounts Payable and Receivable supervision: The selected candidate will supervise Accounts Payable and Receivable processes.

    ">

  11. Additional tasks: They will perform any other task assigned by seniors.

">Required Skills and Qualifications:">

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, along with professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or ICMA.

  2. Cost Accounting principles understanding: Strong understanding of Cost Accounting principles and practices is essential.

    ">

  3. Analytical skills: Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary for this role.

    ">

  4. Financial statement generation: Proficiency in generating financial statements and journal entries is required.

    ">

  5. Financial software/ERP systems experience: Experience using financial software/ERP systems is essential.
