Product Owner Job Description

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled Product Owner to join our technology team. This critical role is responsible for ensuring the successful development and support of our portfolio of products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and technology within a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Support the planning, execution, and delivery of product changes, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Agile Leadership: Support agile development teams in sprint activities and product backlog refinement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, technology operations, and customer experience, to ensure strong execution, delivery, and change management.
  • Priority Management: Set and communicate priorities clearly in product backlogs to the agile team and stakeholders, adjusting as necessary based on changing business needs.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with execution and operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a related role within an agile SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects.
  • Strong collaboration and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems and execute tactically.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
