Hospital Pharmacy Services Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a pharmacy coordinator. As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of pharmacy services, including implementation of policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Assisting in the coordination of pharmacy services, including precepting and coordinating the training of pharmacy students, serving as a role model to trainee pharmacists, and maintaining basic job needs like interpretation of physician orders, intervention, compounding, dispensing, patient education-controlled drugs management, and handling inventory management of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Maintaining a collegial relationship with internal and external stakeholders, focusing on improving the image and performance of the department.
- Managing acute shortages and providing assistance and oversight to staff members.
- Participating in clinical research activities and publications.
- Assisting in implementing optimal drug therapy plans, guidelines, and protocols; identifying, resolving, and preventing potential and actual drug-related problems.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy/Pharm D or Master's degree in Pharmacy or Professional Registration in the UK or USA (preferred).
- A minimum of four to six years of experience in tertiary care hospital pharmacy, with two years at a supervisory level.
- Ability to interpret and understand prescriptions, formularies, and their pharmacological actions.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills and ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and training.
