Job Summary

A Legal Intake Specialist plays a vital role in the success of our law firm by providing exceptional customer service and evaluating potential cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inbound Call Management:
    • Respond to incoming calls from clients involved in auto accidents, gathering essential information regarding the accident and legal representation needs.
    • Demonstrate empathy and professionalism while communicating with clients.
  • Client Interaction:
    • Communicate effectively with clients to explain legal processes and procedures.
    • Provide information about our services and answer client queries.
    • Collect and document relevant details to assist attorneys in evaluating cases.
  • Multi-Tasking:
    • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Navigate electronic systems while engaging with clients on the phone, prioritizing urgent client needs promptly.
  • Document Management:
    • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal standards.
    • Organize and update client information for legal professionals.
    • Utilize tools such as Excel sheets to manage and track client data.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative assistance to legal professionals as needed.
    • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure smooth case progression.
    • Assist in preparing and organizing legal documents.
    Qualifications:
    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
    • Experience: Previous experience in a legal environment or customer service/intake role is preferred.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
    • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, handling multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with case management software is a plus.
    • Empathy and Understanding: A genuine desire to assist clients and a compassionate demeanor.
