Global Logistics Business Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Logistics Business Director to lead our team and drive business growth.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in international freight forwarding, warehouse operations, and logistics sales. They will be responsible for managing key accounts, leading the group, and overseeing inbound/outbound transportation, local distribution, and warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage key accounts and lead the Group
  • Support warehouse management and strategic planning
  • Oversee inbound/outbound, air/ocean transportation, local distribution, drayage, logistics, and warehouse management
  • Identify trends and make recommendations for warehouse operations
  • Improve warehouse productivity and employee training
  • Communicate with clients on projects and shipping schedules
  • Conduct performance reviews and investigate service issues
  • Ensure security and safety in warehouse operations
  • Analyze and improve warehouse and employee productivity
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop sales channels
  • Promote company products/services and meet sales targets
  • Maintain strong client relationships and responsive communication
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business-related field
  • 13+ years in international freight forwarding, warehouse operations, or logistics sales
  • Thorough understanding of transportation modes (trucking, rail, air, ocean)
  • Ability to build trust with clients at all levels
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Korean bilingual required
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% in the U.S.
