Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Cost and Contract Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for managing contracts and ensuring that costs are accurately estimated and controlled.

You will work closely with our operations team to develop BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and specifications for tender documents. Additionally, you will evaluate prices for key raw materials and critical items on a periodic basis.

Your primary goal will be to lead the tendering process, inviting bids from pre-qualified vendors and finalizing the chosen vendor based on our procurement SOPs. You will also be responsible for managing procure-to-pay (P2P) and source-to-pay (S2P) processes to ensure compliance with our purchasing strategies, channels, policies, and procedures.

You will need to develop cost-effective strategies for purchasing materials and services and execute strategic sourcing plans to deliver significant cost savings for the business. Your expertise in contractor performance management will help us to improve our contract execution and reduce potential risks.

Other responsibilities include exploring and driving cost-saving initiatives using global best practices and collaborating with our client, global team, and local operations team to implement these changes. You will provide extended support to our finance department on supplier invoicing, documentation, and active status queries.
