Job Summary:

As a Payment Lifecycle Associate, you will play a crucial role in upholding the company's integrity and resilience. You will be an integral part of the Sanctions Escalations team, ensuring that the firm adheres to the requirements and standards of its Enterprise-Wide Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Management: Understand and implement Global Sanctions standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Transaction Review: Perform research on transactions stopped on the firm's sanctions screening systems to establish true matches to sanctioned entities.
  • Sanctions Issue Resolution: Review transactions for potential sanctions issues, conduct necessary research and queries to determine sanctions requirements across regions, and provide recommendations on Sanctions processes where required.
  • Quality Control and Improvement: Participate in and promote projects implementing OFAC/Sanctions initiatives, including quality control, procedure reviews, and screening processes for new business initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience working in the Financial Services industry with a demonstrated track-record of delivery and/or relevant experience in Compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues and senior management.
  • Ability to maintain high quality in a risk-intensive environment.
  • Possess strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Payment Operations/AML/OFAC or Compliance experience mandatory.
