Senior Technical Lead - Financial Crime Detection and Digital Enablement

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our technical efforts in the area of financial crime detection and digital enablement. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with expertise in developing and implementing technology solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering complex technical projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. They will be able to provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can analyze business needs and develop innovative technical solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a technical roadmap that outlines the technology stack, architecture, and infrastructure required to support the product's growth.
  2. Maintain and prioritize the technical aspects of the product backlog, ensuring that technical tasks are well-defined and aligned with the product vision.
  3. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, helping them make informed technical decisions and trade-offs.
  4. Identify technical risks and challenges early in the development process and work on mitigation strategies.
  5. Ensure that technical aspects of the product, such as architecture, performance, and security, meet quality standards and follow best practices.
  6. Plan and address scalability and performance requirements as the product grows and evolves.
  7. Continuously evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to determine if they can enhance the product's capabilities or improve development efficiency.
  8. Monitor and manage technical debt, making decisions about when to address it and when to prioritize new feature development.
  9. Collaborate with the development team to plan releases and ensure that technical milestones are met within the specified timelines.
