Virtual Event Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Event Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality virtual events. This role involves managing the entire event lifecycle, from pre-event planning to post-event evaluation.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with our project management team to enhance our project management process and ensure successful event delivery.
  • Own the full event lifecycle, ensuring timely event customization and client requests.
  • Lead a project team, motivating members to meet project goals, responsibilities, and milestones.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deliver technical accuracy, scalability, and quality of events.
  • Measure and optimize processes to increase customer renewal rates and satisfaction scores.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to stakeholders.
  2. Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project and program teams.
  3. Report on event success criteria, metrics, and manage test and deployment activities.
  4. Manage day-to-day project activities and resources, and lead project team meetings.

Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in technology, computer science, or IT preferred.
  • Ability to work during US/Canada hours (EST).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
  • Interpersonal skills to influence, facilitate, and enhance performance.
  • Decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions, and prioritizing tasks.
