Accounts Payable Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Process full-cycle accounts payable using accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, NetSuite, or Sage.
  • Verify accuracy, legitimacy, and compliance of invoices submitted for payment.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors via email and phone to resolve account issues and inquiries.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and prepare reports in Excel.
Necessary Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Business or Accounting degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP, NetSuite, or Sage is an asset.
