Project Planner Needed

We seek an accomplished Project Planner to provide expert planning services for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a track record of working on complex large-scale construction projects within the data centre or similar project type.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Schedule Management System Setup: Collaborate with Project Manager and Project Director to establish a project schedule management system.
  2. Project Schedule Preparation: Work with the project team to prepare project schedules at different levels.
  3. Scheduling Report Generation: Prepare high-level scheduling reports for the steering committee to analyze project schedule progress.
  4. Milestone Coordination: Coordinate key milestones with construction, procurement, and design teams to align interface milestones and organize meetings to analyze timelines and gaps.
  5. Schedule Review and Approval: Coordinate with teams to review and approve schedules.
  6. Project Execution Coordination: Instruct key coordination dates for project execution to achieve schedule alignment between contractors.
  7. Project Delay Alerts: Alert potential project delays.
  8. Project Status Reporting: Report project execution status in various forms for different purposes.
Job Requirements:
  • Project Management Principles: Thorough understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality control.
  • Project Scope Management: Ability to create plans that meet client needs, estimating time and resources required for project completion.
  • Time Management: Oversee multiple tasks, ensure project schedules are followed, and meet deadlines.
  • Communication: Effective communication with project teams, stakeholders, clients, and contractors.
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during projects.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assess project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to analyze project requirements, identify potential setbacks, and devise effective solutions.
  • CAD Applications: Familiarity with CAD applications for designing and evaluating complex projects.
