Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and be able to work collaboratively with other engineers to build highly scalable and robust backend applications and services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for writing high-quality, performant, and reliable code, understanding functional specifications, and delivering complete features independently. They will also participate in on-call rotation and contribute to team agile practices and their continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with other engineers to build highly scalable and robust backend applications and services.
  • Write high-quality, performant, and reliable code while working on defined tasks and bugs independently.
  • Understand functional specifications and deliver complete features independently.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and help resolve incidents within SLA.
  • Contribute to team agile practices and their continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as Java, Golang, or Kotlin.
  • Knowledge of computer science fundamentals: object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms.
  • Experience operating online systems reliably, including deploying changes to production.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience with Java Spring, Golang, and Cloud platforms like Azure, GCP, AWS.
  • Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices: coding standards, code reviews, source control, testing, and operations.
