Teaching Faculty in Dental Hygiene

About the Role:

This position involves teaching, mentoring and oversight to undergraduate and graduate dental hygiene students.

The faculty member will be responsible for curriculum development, implementation and evaluation; didactic instruction, coordination in the clinical section, clinical education sites and research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and delivering educational content to students
  • Mentoring students through academic programs
  • Assisting with program accreditation and assessment
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional materials
  • Participating in departmental and institutional service activities
Requirements:
  1. A Master's degree in Dental Hygiene, Education, or related area
  2. Licence as a Registered Dental Hygienist
  3. At least 5 years of experience in teaching and clinical practice
  4. Proven track record of research and publication in reputable peer-reviewed journals
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
