Job Title: Payroll Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a role that offers a high level of impact and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer the overall operation of the team and resources allocation.
  • Implement meticulous checks and controls in the team.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve process efficiency.
  • Update knowledge on policies and legislation changes with the team to ensure accuracy in payments and compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Build development plans for the team and regularly arrange discussions for further development.
  • Make improvements on controls to reduce operation costs and relax burdens on team members.
  • Evaluate Business Contingency plans and ensure they are well planned and tested.
  • Review and sign service-related documents with stakeholders regularly.
Customer Service:
  • Ensure accurate pay results and excellent payroll service for responsible entities.
  • Answer employee enquiries in a polite, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Lead by example through service excellence and driving Quality initiatives for improved customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor 'Service Quality' of the team to ensure high Customer Service Standards.
  • Recognize, reward, and set internal service excellence benchmarks to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify, resolve, and escalate problem situations to give maximum customer satisfaction.
Leadership & Teamwork:
  • Drive staff development through soft skill training, personal development plans, and performance management reviews.
  • Motivate and develop team members to meet business objectives.
  • Create a robust team environment where skills and knowledge are shared to achieve team and business goals.
  • Brief team members regularly and ensure they are aware of individual/department performance targets and achievements.
  • Share knowledge and experience with team members and provide assistance on referred/technical issues.
  • Undertake progress reviews on performance within agreed timescales and provide constructive advice and guidance.
Operational Effectiveness & Control:
  • Continually reassess operational risks inherent in the business taking account of changing economic or market conditions.
  • Implement Group Compliance Policy and contain compliance risk in conjunction with the relevant compliance department.
  • Make further improvements on controls to reduce operation costs and relax burdens on team members.
  • Identify streamlining opportunities to eliminate manual efforts and improve workflow.
