IT Operations Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Specialist to provide expert-level support for DFS platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, experience with cloud-native environments, and a solid understanding of FinTech systems and application flows.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide L2 support for application platforms ensuring uptime and performance
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and application issues
  • Work with cross-functional teams for escalations and root cause resolution
  • Maintain monitoring tools like AppDynamics and ELK Stack
  • Troubleshoot RHEL-based legacy systems, APIs, and database queries (MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL)
  • Support OpenShift and IBM CloudPak platforms
  • Understand FinTech transaction flows and core banking components
  • Automate routine tasks and participate in on-call rotations

Key Requirements:

  • Expertise in AppDynamics, ELKStack, and database query performance
  • Experience with OpenShift, CloudPak, APIs, and caching/messaging tools (Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ)
  • Knowledge of network security, load balancers, and Linux server administration
  • Certifications in Red Hat, IBM Cloud, or related technologies

Education:

Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
