About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Inclusion Specialist to join our team at UNDP Careers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in human rights, international relations, and development, and will be able to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. National Human Rights Institutions and Social Inclusion Project Implementation
  • Lead all implementation of the NHRIs pillar in line with donor requirements.
  • Provide subject matter technical advice and support to the team.
  • Monitor and optimize the utilization of resources to ensure successful achievement of project objectives.
Co-Lead Human Rights Project Implementation
  • Co-lead implementation of the EU funded Human Rights Project.
  • Ensure strategic alignment of activities with other relevant programmatic priorities.
  • Coordinate with subject specialist experts and provincial Project Officers.
Establish Partnerships and Open Channels of Communication
  • Conduct analysis of donor funding strategies and beneficiary demands.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with NHRIs, governments, civil society, and private sector partners.
  • Engage with stakeholders to support key objectives and ensure inclusive implementation.
Monitor and Report on Progress
  • Co-lead reporting and results framework development and updating.
  • Monitor implementation and progress in achieving goals and targets.
  • Liaise with UNDP CO for strategic communication and coordination.
Facilitate Knowledge and Capacity Building
  • Organize training sessions, workshops, and capacity building activities.
  • Identify, synthesize, and document best practices and lessons learned.
  • Participate in knowledge networks and communities of practice.
