Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Yard/Store Manager to oversee the storage, handling, and shipping of bulk imports and exports. This is a key position that requires strong leadership skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for store operations, ensuring that all goods are properly stored and tracked.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with teams to ensure smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, including receiving and inspecting shipments, storing goods in a safe and secure manner, and dispatching goods to customers on time.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, including those related to import and export procedures, customs clearance, and tax obligations.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in yard/store management, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
  • Inventory Control: Strong understanding of inventory control principles, including stock management, ordering, and supply chain logistics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Teamwork: Able to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with others to achieve common goals and objectives.
