The key to driving business growth lies in harnessing the power of data. As a Data Migration Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing migration strategies for our clients' Teradata Vantage ecosystems.

Key responsibilities include developing migration plans, collaborating with technical leads, and working closely with customers to understand their existing ecosystem and technology stacks. A strong understanding of modern data stack components, such as object stores like S3 and Azure blob, is essential for proposing target architectures that meet our clients' needs.

Mission
  • To provide expert-level support in migrating complex data systems to the Teradata Vantage ecosystem.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop migration strategies for Teradata Vantage migration projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing technology components.
  • Leverage existing migration tools and methodologies to efficiently convert technical stacks to the Teradata Vantage ecosystem.
  • Work closely with customer SMEs and Technical Leads on understanding migration strategies and solutions, reporting any issues or risks.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of IT work experience, preferably in data analytics.
  • Strong RDBMS concepts and SQL writing skills.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica, DataStage, and Talend.
  • Knowledge of Hadoop components such as HDFS, Hive, and Spark.
  • Ability to encapsulate knowledge for sharing across multiple projects.
