Commercial Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced commercial and corporate lawyer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international business law, preferably with experience working for multi-national or North America-centric organizations.

• Provide support in the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of commercial agreements, including software license agreements, terms & conditions, service agreements, partnership agreements, and tenders.
• Collaborate with business unit management located in Canada, the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
• Liaise with outside firms to oversee preparation, filing, organization, and maintenance of corporate books and records.
• Assist in matters involving creation and maintenance of corporate subsidiaries, data privacy, data security, trade control compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• US/Canada/UK/European Law degree and 5-8 years of corporate/commercial legal experience working for multi-national, trans-national, or US/Canada/European companies.
• Excellent drafting and negotiating skills, as well as the ability to handle a high volume of competing demands.
• Ideal candidates must be adaptable, business-minded, able to prioritize, and manage workload independently and collaboratively with clients.
